アマンジャブは、1998年に奄美大島でコンポーザーのヤサトのユニットとしてスタート。
女性シンガーノヴォを中心に据えたそのサウンドは、サイケデリックな香りがしたり、眠気を誘ったり、懐かしい記憶を思い出させたり、宇宙をイメージさせたりする。 ライブ演奏はノヴォとヤサトを中心に、流動的なメンバー編成で行われる。コズミックポップスまたはユーエフオーポップスの確立を目指して日々精進、日本国内外でのギグはもとより、近年は映像作品への楽曲提供に力をいれている。

Amamjaubb(Amami, JP) is a futuristic psychedelic pop band that has singer Novo Nobu in center. Their sound has often been quoted as a "comfortable sleepiness remembering a memory of a cosmic groove". They call it COSMIC-POP or UFO-POPS. They frequently tour in Japan but also Australia and Taiwan. They've released 3 albums and lately their first EP called "Flower Punk UFO" in 2015.
